We are a friendly group of instructors of love to share their passion for Nordic Walking and helping people to achieve their goals. Nothing make us happier than to see someone learn about Nordic Walking, fall in love with it and then use it hit their personal weight loss or fitness goals.

You don’t have to be a member and you will always be welcome. Nordic Walking is great fun and our instructors will not only ensure that you reach your health goals but that you have a great time doing it! You will learn all you need to know in a relaxed friendly atmosphere with the Learn To Nordic Walk course.

Matt Gibbs

After transforming his health in 2011 Matt has been helping others around the world make significant changes in their health and wellbeing. Matt got interested in Nordic walking because he felt it really is the perfect way to progress from walking into a more active lifestyle.

Matt’s speciality is helping people who are stuck in a rut with their health, weight, or fitness, or have specific health complaints or conditions that require a more holistic approach to making improvements. Whether it’s returning from injury, or overcoming specific obstacles to achieving vibrant health Matt is here to help, guide and encourage you to expect and achieve more out of life.

Diane Oakden

Diane Oakden came into fitness after a  career in Higher Education. She is qualified as a personal trainer in her 40s and Modern Pilates instructor with GP Referral qualifications. She is totally committed to getting everyone fitter and healthier and enjoying life more.

She discovered Nordic Walking  when she was looking for a way for people to exercise outdoors. She strongly believes that our modern life is harming our health if we don’t get enough outdoor time.  Exercise outdoors has been shown to lift mood.
